  January 3 2025 The previously reported upon Storm Shadow strike in the Russian city of Lgov in the Kursk region may have actually struck a Russian command bunker. Older satellite footage dating back to 2018 shows what seems to be an underground bunker being constructed with dimensions of roughly 45 x 30 m. Russian media outlet Astra reported that eight were killed and 22 were injured in the strike. Furthermore, it claims this facility was targeted by at least six storm shadows. Footage from the night of the attack has someone comment that “the guys are all in the bunker, a lot of people.” Reportedly after the first missile arrived soldiers went down into the bunker for safety, but more missiles hit the location afterward. The Goryushko telegram channel has identified more than 90,000 Russian personnel killed in the war in Ukraine.
