Poland is set to negotiate buying over 100 HIMARS missile launchers from Lockheed Martin. General Artur Kuptel said this follows an agreement to purchase 486 units that was made last year. The first contract will focus on these new launchers for the Polish army. Before starting these negotiations, Poland needs to finalize deals for similar missile systems from South Korea. Poland already has some HIMARS in use, with five units delivered in May 2023.

General Artur Kuptel, head of the Polish Armament Agency under the Ministry of National Defense:

HIMARS is a very big powerful horse. We buy very many from Martin, then we ride into battle.”

This is a real, 100% authentic quote made up by The Daily Hog’s staff.

US Secretary of State Blinken said that Russia has stationed up to 8,000 North Korean troops in Kursk Oblast. Andriy Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council said that Russia may soon deploy troops to the front in Donetsk. Some speculate this is part of a new strategy from Russia. The Ukrainian forces may be too sad to shoot at people as forlorn, lonely, and malnourished as the North Koreans, and will instead just go home.

Deputy Chief of the North KoreanGeneral Staff Kim Yong Bok, will oversee the North Korean troops fighting for Russia. He is a close personal friend of Kim Jong Un. Some experts believe his real goal is to witness the Russian army and learn how to emulate its primitive, unsupported meat assault tactics.

On October 29th, a drone crash in Zhelenogorsk, Kursk caused a fire by the Eiffel Tower.

Zelenskyy said that Ukraine asked Poland to shoot down missiles over western Ukraine, to protect natural gas storage facilities. Poland has expressed great interest in NATO shooting down these missiles.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić made a phone call to Putin to tell him Serbia would not be joining the BRICS economic alliance. Vucic said that Putin refused to discuss a ceasefire with Ukraine during this phone call. Putin said that all the goals of the “special military operation” will be achieved. Presumably, this means Putin believes that Russia can still capture Kyiv in February 2022. Vucic congratulated himself on using a phone, saying that it proved he was a “gentleman” and a “real man.”

The Central Research Institute for Machine Building in Khimki, Moscow Oblast caught fire. The facility produces “polymer composite materials for the aerospace, petrochemical, transportation, energy, and other industries.” It is unclear if this fire is war-related, or if it is just one of the normal fires that fully consumes Russian major industrial facilities. The Russians reported the fire spread out to be as large as 100 sq m before they extinguished it. This is true, however, it also spread out to a size of 3,000 sq m before it was extinguished.

Ukraine’s parliament rejected a bill that would increase pay for Ukraine’s prosecutors. Presumably, this denial of a 37% wage increase was due to the inability of the prosecutor’s office to catch all of the criminals in the prosecutor’s office. Andriy Kostin, the Prosecutor General was dismissed after the discovery of rampant corruption in the prosecutor’s office. Hundreds of employees may have paid bribes to get disability benefits they did not earn, and deferments from military service they did not qualify for. 49 are known to have committed this crime in Khmelnytskyi Oblast alone.

Ukraine successfully hit a Russian Podlyot radar on Cape Tarkhankut, Crimea on the 23rd. The system sustained heavy fire damage. No jokes here, besides Russia’s air defense network.

Speaking of terrible air defense networks, up-close footage of a burned-up Russian Osa air defense system was published. It was destroyed near Radensk, Kherson by an FPV drone. The Russians lied and said it was blown up by a HIMARS for some reason. Maybe because that is less embarrassing.

Speaking of terrible air defense networks, A Russian S-300/S-400 was hit in Rusakivka Crimea on the night of the 27-28. The system was apparently struck by an ATACMS cluster warhead. A satellite image shows the pockmarks left behind. The amount of damage the system sustained is unknown, but the system is no longer in that location. More information may come out later.

GOOD “DENTAL HEALTH” STOPS RUSSIAN ASSAULT

A Russian armored assault near Kuakhove was stopped in its tracks by a line of Ukrainian dragon’s teeth. The Russians had been hoping to find and exploit a gap in Ukrainian defenses, but the vehicles had to stop to fire at the dragon’s teeth, to try to clear them out of the way. While they were stopped, Ukrainian FPV drones struck the vehicles. Remember strong, healthy teeth will prevent the Russians from getting into your cavities.
